Meljski Hrib is a settlement on a small hill to the northeast of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the Maribor urban municipality.
Archaeological finds in the area with artefacts dating to Prehistory as well as Roman pot sherds, point to the continuous settlement of the area.
398 m visok Meljski hrib je dobil ime po melišcih na južnem pobocju. Po drugi razlicici izvira ime iz starodavne tradicije mlinarstva, saj so bili vzdolž obrežja reke Drave nekoc postavljeni številni plavajoci vodni mlini.
