There are two "temporary" footpath closures, therefore please approach this from Hunter Street, or the Frankwell carpark along the river path.
See ref FP33 and FP34 https://next.shropshire.gov.uk/outdoor-partnerships/countryside-access-and-public-rights-of-way/temporary-closures-of-public-rights-of-way/
This is placed on the Severn Way footpath, a 224 mile (360km) footpath from the source of the river to the Estuary. The cache is on a set of steps that are above the flood line. It's a lovely walk around a loop through Popular Field, to the Frankwell Quay carpark.
If the river is in flood or you are in doubt at all about the river level, approach down Hunter Street.
I had been wondering how to place a cache in this location when I found some likely help at home so bodged it together. There is a section of footpath closed due to Badger activity.
