KAS TAS METAR?
METAR (angl. Meteorological Aerodrome Report, Oro uosto meteorologinis pranešimas) – kodinė pranešimo forma apie meteorologines sąlygas oro uostuose. METAR orų pranešimus daugiausiai naudoja orlaivių pilotai bei orų prognozes sudarantys sinoptikai. Tai labiausiai paplitęs, ICAO standartizuotas faktinių oro sąlygų duomenų perdavimo būdas.
METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) - code form for reporting meteorological conditions at airports. METAR weather reports are mainly used by aircraft pilots and weather forecasters. It is the most common, ICAO-standardized way of transmitting actual weather data.

Esant neigiamoms temperatūroms, kode atsiranda papildoma raidė. Ta raidė = e.
- Clouds
Debesų kiekis 3-4 oktos žymimos trijų raidžių deriniu: *f*

- Air pressure
Tarkime, atmosferos slėgis perskaičiuotas jūros lygiui yra lygiai 1000,0 hPa (koduojamas kaip Q1000). Kokį atmosferos slėgį (QFE) rodys prietaisai Šiaulių oro uoste, jeigu jis yra iškilęs 135 m virš jūros lygio? Atsakymą X suapvalinkite iki sveikų skaičių.

- Wind Direction & Speed
Strong variation in wind direction (60 ̊- 180 ̊) at low average wind speeds (<3 kt) is coded with a combination of three letters: c**.
- Visibility
Visibility >10 km is coded with four identical digits. One such digit is your number d.
- Temperature & dew point
At negative temperatures, an additional letter appears in the code. That letter = e.
- Clouds
The amount of clouds in 3-4 octas is indicated by a combination of three letters: *f*
The amount of clouds in 5-7 octas is indicated by another combination of three letters:*g*
- Air pressure
Let's say the atmospheric pressure converted to sea level is exactly 1000.0 hPa (coded as Q1000). What atmospheric pressure (QFE) will the instruments show at Šiauliai airport, if it is 135 m above sea level? Round the answer X to whole numbers.
