Harehills Road used to be a major thoroughfare through from Heywood to Pilsworth industrial estate and into Bury.
Recently there has been a new road Built "Queen Elizabeth II Way" which is the new link road between M62 and Pilsworth Industrial Estate, and the truck stop there which has reduced the amount of HGV traffic throughout Heywood Town Centre. It has also made Harehills Road a nice quiet side street from a very busy road.
I have placed a cache inbetween the 2 roads which used to be a busy place, but is now repuropsed into a green area.
