SideTracked Day 2024 - Meadmore Junction

SideTracked Caches are a familiar series intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations... a distraction for the weary traveller. And of course, anyone else can go and find them too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.

About SideTracked Events

Since the series first began in the UK, SideTracked Events have been held on 10th August (SideTracked Day) to celebrate... and this year is the 17th Anniversary.

Meadmore Junction Event

With SideTracked Caches proliferating across Melbourne and parts of Victoria, we are joining in with the UK and celebrating SideTracked Day 2024 at Meadmore Junction at the home of the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway. This will be a family-friendly event with attendees gaining exclusive access to the miniature railway. It includes train rides (gold coin donation), colouring competition, temporary tattoos, Thomas & Friends Geotrail (follow the Event waypoints), BBQ lunch, and an accessible adventure playground just opposite the event site.

    Geocaching Victoria

Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporated body that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching in the state of Victoria. It is governed by committees of enthusiastic geocachers who volunteer their time and energy for the advancement of geocaching in Victoria. Collectively we aim to inspire great geocaching experiences, promote knowledge sharing and development, foster and grow the geocaching community, and help to showcase the best Victorian geocaching experiences to geocachers both from within and outside of the state.

We host small and large scale events and CITOs around Victoria as well as supporting others who also hold events around the state. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new and exciting ideas that can aid and enhance the geocaching experience of anyone within the state of Victoria.
