Dit is station Zuid.

Vanaf 1978 kon men hier alleen de trein naar Schiphol nemen. Na een paar jaar werd het treintraject wel verlengd naar Leiden en station RAI. En pas in 1991 werd het station verbonden met Utrecht en Almere.

Ook begin jaren negentig stopten de eerste metro's op dit station.

Sindsdien is er regelmatig verbouwd aan het station, onder andere om de groeiende stroom reizigers aan te kunnen. En ook nu zijn ze nog volop bezig (waarschijnlijk tot 2036 volgens de planning).

This is station Zuid (South station).

From 1978 one could only catch a train to the airport here. A couple years later they elonged the line to station RAI and Leiden. And only in 1991 the station was connected with Utrecht and Almere.

Also the underground was added early nineties.

​​​​​​Ever since, the station has been modified numerous times, e.g. to adapt to growing numbers of travelers. Even now it's a work in progress (till 2036).
