This cache is hidden at the old animal pound in Isfield.
The village pound was once a feature of most english villages (they were also found in many english colonies of North America and Ireland).
This structure was once used to contain stray animals which had escaped from nearby fields. local farmers would have to pay the keeper of the pound to retrieve their livestock.
If farmers didn't pay up or come to collect, then the animals would be sold at market and the pound keeper would take the profit to cover the cost of impounding.
Isfield's pound was originally known as The Manor Pound. It has been Grade II listed since 1982 and was restored in 1990.
No hint on this one. Shouldn't be too hard to find if you look around.
