Welcome in the beautiful Kortenberg! This municipality was founded in 1095 and Frank Duboccage, a famous Belgian weatherman and scientist, used to live here.
If you come looking for this cache, there is a good chance that you come by bike from the HST/F3 route. This route goes from Leuven to Brussels or vice versa: it's your choice. It is also convenient that it is a route along the railway line, so it is a flat, straight and fast connection. There are thousands of cyclists who use this route every day!

Welkom in het mooie Kortenberg! Deze gemeente is ontstaan in 1095 en Frank Duboccage, een bekende Belgische weerman en wetenschapper, woonde hier vroeger.
Als je deze cache komt zoeken, is de kans groot dat je met de fiets van de HST/F3-route komt. Deze route gaat van Leuven naar Brussel of omgekeerd: het is jouw keuze. Ook handig is dat het een route langs de spoorlijn is, dus is het een vlakke, rechte en snelle verbinding. Er zijn duizenden fietsers die deze route dagelijks gebruiken!
