Welcome to Haley State Park!
These caches are hidden along a well marked trail through Haley State Park. The property here was acquired from the Haley family of the Brown and Haley candy company. The trailhead is unmarked, but if you park on the road near the caches, the entry is a well defined path across the street and 100' west of the Jackson Lake parking lot.
You can park along the road west of the trailhead, or during the summer you can park across the street at the lake.
The hike is out-and-back, 1.5 miles each way to the beach, and it's a little over 300' elevation change. It's a beautiful walk through some large old trees, with only one steep section.
All of the caches can be gotten to easily from the main trail or by following existing paths off the trail, please do not forge new paths to get to them. No cache requires you to cut bushes or break limbs. Check the hints for more info on each cache location.
This cache is on the hallow stump behind the big cedar tree, on the SW side, 4' off the ground.
1. This cache has an approved Permit to be placed at this location on property managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. Visitors are responsible for acquainting themselves with policies and rules pertaining to State Parks areas.
