In 2024 the GAGB will be running two CITO Weeks: Saturday 25th May 2024 to Friday 31st May 2024 and Saturday 26th October 2024 to Friday 1st November 2024. When attending CITOs during these times two GAGB profile badges are up for grabs - one for organisers, and another for attendees.

Please meet at the given coordinates (in the free car park) to collect tools and join us on a walk about the reserve or break off and go on your own litter wander. Further details:

Parking: Is at the given parking coordinates, please note that you can only access the site from the dual-carriageway going towards Over roundabout, see the parking access waypoint to see where to access the car park. If you are arriving after the start time please send me a message (in advance) to allow access.

Where: Meet by the metal security gates on the track at the parking access waypoint at 1030.

What: We will be collecting litter and make note of any large items for the rangers to move at a later date. We will also be trimming path edges and access gates.

How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing bags and pickers, but do bring your own if you prefer. Bring work gloves if you have them.

Health and Safety: Please do not pick up any sharp item or cause risk to yourself. Use the litter pickers to pick up items. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.

The task can be thirsty work so please bring your own refreshments for teabreak!
