This series of caches is designed to introduce you to the world of What3Words. The map of our planet has been created using a variety of formats. Geocachers use the system of Latitude and Longitude coordinates. Let's try something new!
By now, you should have a pretty good feel for W3W. For the next couple puzzles, I'm going to demonstrate different ways to hide information. There are 3.3 million active geocaches scattered around the world. There are also a large quantity of archived geocaches. 99% of them are never looked at again after they are taken off the map. It provides a sneaky hiding place for info. For this puzzle, you're going to search an archived geocache to find the 3 words.
Look up GC2K1EW - "Whitetail Sanctuary." The words are hidden in my maintenance logs for the following dates (in order):

There is a $2 day fee charged for all users of the Heritage Trail. Considering all the fun you'll be having, it's a pretty cost-effective way to spend the day. The $$ go right back into trail maintenance, so your visit will help keep the Heritage Trail in good shape for years to come!
All the containers are the same size and color. If you look for a cache and can't locate it, please record the DNF and I'll be out to check on it as quick as I can. Throwdowns are HIGHLY DISCOURAGED.
