Geocache Description:

Silver Mine Park is open dawn to dusk. No night caching.

SPRING EPHEMERALS are the short-lived spring flowers that appear, bloom briefly, and then disappear until the following year. When I visited this location in late April, I saw Rue Anemone blooming as well as both white and blue Bluebells. The Wild Ginger was starting to bloom, but it has very small flowers. The Cutleaf Toothwort was done as was the Round-lobed Hepatica. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some Bloodroot here as well. You can spot the cache without leaving the trail. Don't trample the flowers.

Don't trample the plants. There's a trail. Use it.

This cache is along the Scout Trail. The trailhead is toward the creek near posted coordinates. That trail will take you down to the correct elevation, but then you will need to go up a bit. STAY ON THE TRAIL. You should keep your feet on the trail while searching for it. It should be blatantly obvious. (It was so obvious, someone took it.) It is tethered on the creek side of a small tree right beside the trail. Don't step on the flowers.

But this is a multi. How do we know where to look for the black bison tube?

At posted coordinates, there is a building. It has a porch on the front. How many posts are extending above the porch's railing? Let that be P.

Now look at the back of the building. On each side of the back, there are logs poking out toward you. Including the log poking into the roof support, how many logs are poking toward you on one side? (hint: it's a single digit). Let that be L.

Black bison is hanging along the Scout Trail with its trailhead close to posted coordinates (KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE TRAIL) at
