New Hedges Village Hall started its life in the 1850s as the village school. Over 1,000 children attended during the years up until its closure in 1961. It was then used as a Sunday school until 1980. 1982 saw it being converted into the Village Hall. The playing field was added in 2001 and the main hall was extended in 2007 to what you see now.
