Where The Wildflowers Grow
Welcome to Thompson Estate Nature Reserve! This tranquil place is one of our favourite places to go for walks, so we hope you enjoy it.
Beautiful wildflowers grow in the open area near the cache during the spring, hence the cache name.
The Cache
It is not safe to park on the side of Inverloch-Venus Bay Rd and walk to the cache so please park in the tennis court car park and walk through the bush reserve track.
The cache is a 3.35L Sistema container with 4 clips to hold it shut, so please make sure the clips are clipped properly before replacing it; this reserve can get very damp. We don’t want our treasures getting wet! This is the third time we have needed to change the cache location so please ensure the cache is not visible from the track when replacing it to ensure it doesn't get muggled!
This cache is our first and has been designed with kids in mind, but we think it will bring joy to adults alike. It was placed with heaps of swaps. We trust that everyone will use the standard geocache swapping rule: trade up, trade equal or not at all.
