Admiral Henry Wolsey Bayfield (21 January 1795 – 10 February 1885) was a naval officer and hydrographic surveyor. He was put in charge of surveying both Lake Erie and Lake Huron while using Penetanguishine as his headquarters. Although his surveys were accurate for the time, he wished his measurements were more exact due to only having open boats and no good chronometer.
Today, geocachers use GPS and million dollar satallites to find tupperware in the woods.
Accuracy for this geocache's coordinates are ±5M.
