The Geokids are members of the 1st Goytre Scout Group and back in 2023 the group hid some containers as part of a Geocaching badge award. Unfortunately the cache was never published - shortly after the container was placed it was muggled - the box was damaged and its contents thrown away. This hide replaces the lost cache and will hopefully be less noticeable than its predecessor!
Set at the start of a woodland walk, which can be muddy in parts, the Geokids refer to the tree as "the climbing tree". The woods are popular with dog walkers, so stealth may be required.
