This 2024 Summer Geocache Challenge is in the northern section of Thacher Park beginning at the north (dead) end of Ryan Road, and will take you on a 3.7 mi loop hike on the Yellow Perimeter trail, the Long Path, and the Hang Glider Road. There are (6) Challenge caches and (9) Additional caches. This cache page will give you the general info for this loop hike. The trails may be wet and muddy in spots so be prepared with proper footwear. If you want a longer hike there is parking off Carrick Road to the north at N42 40.605 W74 02.855 that would add about an additional 1.0 mi to the hike. A unique container near the Ryan Road parking and trail head.
