This sea tunnel was built by the Germans during World War II and is also known as Potkop Brijesta. It was also used again by the Yugoslavs, but it only accommodated small ships and was then closed for use. It was secret until it was decommissioned in 1995 and is now open to all. It is now widely used by local shellfish hunters as a refuge.
