Walsh Peak is a very prominent high point in this section of Coe. This cache is a preform marking the junction of the spur trail from Winslow's Trail out to Walsh Peak. Once you reach this junction you have done the hard work. It's a relatively modest jaunt, all on trail, up to the peak from here.
Placed while hiking with dantreeman during BCW 2024 on a loop starting at Kaiser - Aetna Road, up Winslow's, across Coit, and back along Pacheco Ridge. Longer hikes are possible from Dowdy Ranch or even longer from Hunting Hollow.
Bring lots of water if you hike to this one.
