On May we mention both 76 years for Israel and 24 years of Geocaching. Together this 100 years!
We will celebrate both by at least 10 new mystery caches, all in radius of 2km from the event GZ. If mystery caches are still mystery for you, this is the opportunity to solve with other cachers and learn the techniques. If you are experienced puzzles solvers, you may help others and learn from each other new solving approaches.
You will find mysteries of various types, such as crossword, cryptic, number, sudoku, maze, who am I?, somewhere in..., logical, cipher.
After solving together, we will go to find them and FTF together. If you come late, be sure to have my phone, maybe we already outside. My home will be open for you, as long as you will want to continue to solve the puzzles (or just have fun together).
What do you need?
- Laptop. We need at least one, to connect to a big screen, so everyone will be able to solve together. Please write if you bring one.
- Paper and pencil for solving (physical or electronic)
- Pen for signing the logs
- Tweezers for some caches
- SWAG
- Hat and sunscreen
- water
Food
You may (but not must) bring someting to eat while solving, but please, only vegan. My house is vegan. Please don't bring anything which contains animal derived ingredients, only vegan items. Ask me if you don't sure.
Since we mention the Independence day and since it better to solve puzzles on full stomach, I'll arrange for us the national Israel food - falafel. I'll bring falafel balls, fries, hummus, tahini and pickles. Ricky wrote she brings salad. I have vegetables, if we'll need more. If you plan to bring something of the above, please tell me and I'll arrange the rest.
Parking
Usually it is not so difficult to find a parking place near the GZ, in Begin or Moshe Dayan. If you don't find, try in Begin, north to GZ. In the rare case that you don't find there, try in the small streets, north to Moshe Dayan. The access to them is from Pirhei Habar, which connects to both Begin and Moshe Dayan.
If you need, due to accessibilty issues, heavy thing or anything else, I can keep one private parking. Tell me ahead if you need it.
במאי אנו מציינים 76 שנים למדינה ו-24 שנים למטמונאות. יחד זה 100 שנים!
נציין את המאורעות עם לפחות 10 מטמוני חידה חדשים, שיפורסמו לכבוד האירוע, כולם בטווח של עד 2 ק"מ מנקודת האפס (GZ) של מטמון האירוע. אם מטמוני חידה הם עדיין חידה עבורכם, זו הזדמנות לפתור, יחד עם מטמונאים אחרים וללמוד את השיטות. אם אתם פותרי חידות מנוסים, תוכלו לעזור לאחרים וגם ללמוד זה מזה גישות חדשות לפתרון.
המטמונים החדשים יכללו חידות מסוגים שונים, כולל תשבץ (באנגלית), תשבץ הגיון (גם אנגלית), חידות מספרים, סודוקו, מבוך, "מי אני?", "איפה שהוא ב...", חידות לוגיות וצופן.
לאחר הפתרון המשותף, ניתן יהיה ללכת יחדיו, להיות יחד הראשונים למצוא. אם את מאחרים, וודאו מראש שיש לכם את הטלפון שלי, למקרה שכבר יצאנו לחיפושים. זמני האירוע אינם קשיחים. הבית יהיה פתוח עבורכם, ככל שתרצו להמשיך ולפתור את החידות, או סתם להנות יחד.
מה להביא?
- מחשב נייד. נצטרך לפחות אחד, כדי להתחבר איתו למסך גדול, כך שכולם יוכלו לפתור יחד. כתבו בבקשה אם אתם מביאים.
- נייר ועפרון, פיזים, או אפילו טוב יותר לסביבה, אלקטרונים.
- עט לחתימה על יומני המטמון.
- פינצטה דרושה לכמה מטמוני ננו.
- חרפש (חפצים רגילים, פרסים, שטויות - SWAG), להחלפה במטמונים.
- כובע וקרם הגנה.
- מים
אוכל
אפשר (אבל לא חובה) להביא נישנושים, אבל בבקשה, רק טבעוני. האירוע מתקיים בבית טבעוני. בבקשה לא להביא שום דבר שמכיל רכיבים מהחי. במקרה של ספק, דברו איתי.
לציון יום העצמאות, נהנה מהמאכל הלאומי שלנו, פלאפל. אם אתם מתכננים להביא משהו מהמרכיבים, תגידו לי. אני אדאג לכדורים, צ'יפס, חומוס, טחינה, חמוצים (אלא אם כן מישהו אחרי יביא משהו מאלה).
חניה
בדרך כלל אפשר למצוא חניה ליד הבית, בבגין או במשה דיין. אם לא מוצאים, לרוב יש חניה בהמשך בגין צפונה. אם גם שם אין, ניתן למצוא בסמטאות צפונית למשה דיין, גישה ברכב לסמטאות מרחוב פרחי הבר שמתחבר לבגין ולמשה דיין.
