This geocache is placed in conjunction with the 2024 Allegany State Park Geobash. This is a regular sized container hidden near the Stone Tower. This is a nice place to visit as the views are amazing and most people say they have phone service here. Be aware that the roads in this area are not maintained in the winter! The road is also very narrow in some areas.
Please note: The Park charges a Vehicle Use Fee ($7 for cars in 2024), Daily from the 4th week of June to Labor day and on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day to Mid-October.
This geocache has been approved by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation at Allegany State Park and has been given permit number ALL 33A.
