The stages of this multicache are located in areas of Myrtle Beach that have military significance. The first 2 stages (virtual) are located in Warbird Park with the final stage in Splinter City. Warbird Park is a great place to spend a little time. We hope you enjoy it.
Splinter City refers to the wooden structures that were quickly built at this location in 1942. These structures were necessary for the training mission of the Unites States Army Air Corps' Myrtle Beach Bombing and Gunnery Training Range to be fully operational in only 6 months. in 1943 some of these facilities were used to house German prisoners of war. Today this location is a popular disc golf course.

The coordinates for the final stage are N33 39.AEE W078 55.KJH
The final stage is located on the edge of the field of play of one of the disc golf holes and is not far from the bike path adjacent to highway 17.
After determining the final coordinates you can walk from Warbird Park or you can move your car to parking waypoint #2. If you choose to walk from Warbird Park head east on the sidewalk that parallels the westbound side of Farrow Parkway until you reach the intersection of Hwy 17 and Farrow Parkway. Turn right and cross the intersection. Then walk south on the bike path adjacent to Hwy 17 towards the final coordinates. If you have parked at Splinter City follow the asphalt path out of the parking area east towards Hwy 17. When the asphalt path gets close to Hwy 17 leave the path and walk across a short section of the disc golf course to the bike path adjacent to Hwy 17. When crossing the playing area of the disc golf course be on the look out for disc golf players and wait for them to complete the hole before crossing. When you reach the bike path head south towards the final coordinates.
