Welcome to the second installment of this series of cache hides situated along or near some of the seemingly too-many-to-count walkthroughs, or Connector Trails, in and around my neighbourhood. Since moving to Parksville in the Spring of 2023 I have discovered a lot of these by simply walking around, and I am amazed at how something so pedestrian can be so interesting. It's a great opportunity to explore the suburbs where you can sometimes discover local curiosities like neighbourhood book exchanges, kids' chalk street art, cute birdhouses, and even some trails where an adjacent homeowner has installed motion-activated lighting atop their fenceposts to help guide your way when it's dark!
"Critter Alley" is a short pathway that connects Crabapple Crescent with Mulberry Place. Keep in mind this is a residential neighbourhood so I would recommend choosing a parking spot very carefully. Or better yet, make your visit to this area on foot or by bicycle!
This is a "Log Only, Bring Your Own Pen" cache due to the custom container's unique design. There is no room for swag and I would appreciate it if you could sign with initials only due to limited space and I recommend that you make sure you have brought tweezers with you in order to retrieve the log sheet! 
The difficulty level reflects the level of thought - not muscle - required to make the find so please do not try to remove the host from its location! The cache is very easy to find once you have identified the host and it is also easy to put back but replace it carefully so the next finder can enjoy the challenge.
