Geocache Description:

Earth Caches is surely not the love of everybody and I'm one of those finding them really hard. Therefor is this - my first EC - a very simple one and should be possible for anyone to answer. Good Luck

Geocache Description:

Granite is an igneous rock (formed by the cooling of magma). Its main compositions are quartz (light coloured), alkali feldspar (pink) and plagioclase (grey). Granites can also contain other minerals, such as biotite and mica (black).

Granite may or may not be foliated, depending upon the circumstances under which it was formed. Foliation in general is caused by changes in exposure to pressure and temperature as the layers of rock form and build upon one another.

You see granite everywhere, on walls, floors, countertops, in art, yes more or less used for anything.

Logging Tasks

The location takes you to a small store on the Medan Pasar where its facade is the Earth Cache of interest. Answer the following in the message center. Please try your best and the Q3 will surely show you have been here.

  1. Describe the rock texture in front of you. Colours, width, size of minerals, rims, layers etc. As detailed as you can.
  2. Based on your answer, is the rock foliated or not.
  3. Attach a photolog to prove your visit. A photo of the Pasar will be great, please dont show the rock.
