-Situé près du canal des houillères de la Sarre, qui a été creusé entre1861 et 1866, pour relier le bassin houiller de la Sarre aux industries d’Alsace. Il relie la Sarre depuis Sarreguemines au canal de la Marne au Rhin à Gondrexange.
