You will find this cache just off the I-94 exit for the Painted Canyon Overlook/Visitor Center. You are looking for a bison.
If you have time there is a great overlook and short hiking trail (1 mile loop) near by. You do not have to enter the Free National Park area to find the cache.
If you are interested in the rest stop and visitor center, please note they are only open during the summer months, but you can go into see the overlook and hike anytime. Just park near the gate. Please be aware there are Buffalo in the area, be safe, and enjoy seeing them from a safe distance.
