"Tot ziens!" is the Dutch way of saying "See you again!"
I hope I will.
Singapore was my home for the last 27 months, and it breaks my heart to leave it. I made so many lovely friends here, initially within the geocaching community, and later branching out to other communities. I sincerely hope that I will see my geokakis again, whether it be in Singapore, in Europe, or elsewhere on this blue marble. This is my "goodbye" event.
Let us meet in Little India, at the Madras New Woodlands restaurant, where I made many happy memories. Please join me? Food and drink are optional, but no purchase is required to attend the event.
Even though this is primarily a goodbye event for the local geocaching, everybody is of course welcome! I love meeting new people, and the local community is super welcoming
.
As the Dutchies say: "Hoe meer zielen, hoe meer vreugd."
And: "Liefde gaat door de maag."
Note on accessibility: If I remember correctly, there is no threshold at the door to get into the venue, so it is wheelchair accessible in that sense. However: while the restrooms are at ground level, they do not have hand rails or other accommodations for people with mobility issues. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me and I will do my best to answer/address them.
