First, just as all college students, bring your own pen. Some history, many years ago on Chestnut Street on the campus of WKU just behind Thompson Complex Center Wing there stood an old red brick building. The building was a two story building that dated back to the 1940's. It had hardwood floors and the hall ran from one end directly down to the opposite door. Along both sides of the center hall were classrooms. Lining the hall were glass cases that were filled with mounted specimens of birds and mammals. It was a classic old school biology building. There is no an open grassy field where it once stood. Thompson Complex Center Wing is now named Thompson Complex and it includes Snell Hall, which was the name of the old red brick building that no longer exists. It is nice to spend time sitting out in the grassy field on nice days knowing that in the 90's time was spent listening to lectures in musty classrooms taught by professors who were actually using chalkboards. Some of those professors still work there. The cache is near that spot. That spot is surrounded by most of the WKU science department buildings, thus the name of the cache. One of the largest buildings near to the cache is the Engineering, Sciences and Technology Building (EST). I'll ask the frat guys across the street to keep an eye out and make sure nobody messes with the cache. Have fun and stay safe.
