What's going on?
This is a simple event cache, in the style of recent events. This has now become a regular thing.
Leinster Rugby is playing Connacht Rugby at the nearby RDS this evening - so it seemed like a helpful idea to facilitate the chaps from out West to come across for more than just an annual beating!
And anyone from the North or that unspeakable place down South are very welcome too! Wear your colours if you dare!
Where's it happening?
At the listed coordinates, obviously. That's on the public footpath outside two famous pubs in Ballsbridge - Paddy Cullen's and Crowe's. We'll see where we can find a corner to hold court. We'll aim for under the heat lamps. There is also a very good pizza shop right next door if you get hungry.
It is going to be busy
It is going to be extraordinarily busy, especially preceding kick-off at 7.35pm. You have been warned. It may not be ideal for smaller children, so if the wee ones are coming, you'll need to be extra mindful.
Parking
Public parking - free in the evenings - is available on many nearby streets. Public transport is a better idea with the DART to Landesdowne Rd, and frequent buses on the 4, 7, 7A and 7D from the city centre. Also there is a frequent service on the cross-town S2 bus.
