It's time to make use of another trail mix container I had stashed away. Now this cache is made with one of them and has been placed in a great place for hiking and enjoying some fine Colorado scenery. This is the 52nd such cache in the series. All of the first 50 have been adopted by other cachers except for a few that have been archived.
I like to find caches like this and that's why I hide caches like this. So this is another "north of 40" TM cache and in fact is the furthest north (so far)!
The Lady Moon Trailhead is where there is a nice parking lot (see waypoint). The trail heads south and branches off in several directions. Use the Powerline Trail to get close to this cache.
Bikes are allowed here but only July through October.
There are numerous other caches out here but when I hid the cache, the bridges over the creek were being replaced and there was too much water to get over it and stay dry. No creek issues getting to this cache but there might be some minor soggy areas here and there.
The hiding place is about 70 feet off trail and there is no challenging climbing to do.
