The Ridge Run Trail is part of the Art Roscoe Trail system Allegany State Park. These trails are part of the ski trail system and are widely used for hiking and mountain biking during the summer months.
Ridge Run stars right from the parking area at the Summit Trailhead, and provides access to the three loops neer the summit (Sweetwater, Christian Hollow, and Leonard Run). Once past these three loops, it truly turns into a "Ridge Run" as it follows the top of a long ridge that runs all the along eastern edge of Allegany State Park.
The cache is located near the turn off leading to the top of the old Bova Downhill Ski Slope.
