The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is a series of events to celebrate International Geocaching Day. The events are in multiple locations across the state and aim to provide opportunities for cachers to locate a nearby event to join in the celebrations. In 2024, the cache crawl begins in Sunbury on International Geocaching Day (Saturday) and travels north through the state before arriving in Echuca for an optional overnight stay. The fun spills over into Sunday with a different journey south, ultimately ending with a final event in Seymour.
Join in the celebrations at this finale event for the 2024 Great Victorian Cache Crawl!
Date: 18 August 2024
Where: Apex Park
Time: 3:00pm - 3:30pm
What to bring: your best smile and geocaching travel stories
There is a small picnic table and you may like to bring a picnic rug or chairs to sit on the grass.
Take some time to explore the town, visit the war memorials and find the local geocaches. Seymour has many parks, bush walking tracks and historical sites, including a heritage walking trail, heritage listed trestle bridge and heritage railway centre. There are also many places for tasty treats, including a bakery, brewery and blueberry farm.
