Welcome to Hinckley Park! This small bit of nature is a haven in the middle of our city. Hiking trails will take you past the community garden and our future food forest, and around two ponds. These ponds were once used as an ice collection site before the electric refrigerator became common place in housesholds. Now the land has been reclaimed by nature and is home to many species of flora and fauna, including painted turltes and bullfrogs (which you might see near this cache).

The cache you are looking for is tan with a black handle and can be found without leaving the trails. This container has been hidden by the City of South Portland Parks and Rec Department and contains small prizes for you to take home. If you find anything wrong with this cache (no prizes, missing pencils, etc) please email sraftery@southportland.org
