This Multi cache is dedicated to our Geocaching friends Hidnseek and GPS Derek.
The posted coordinates will give you a view of the Cascade Street Dam. It was first constructed in 1869 to supply a Grist Mill. In 1894, the Grist Mill was converted to provide electricity at 75MW. In 1920 the Grist Mill power was converted to a complete Hydro Electric Station producing 1.4 MW of power and in 2017, a new 3.4 MW station that is in place now came into service.
The dam is made up of concrete with weirs, 4 stoplog spillways and 2 sluice gates.

At the posted coordinates, you will find a plaque commemorating Cascade Street Bridge. You will need to record the year of commemoration of the bridge.
PLEASE…do not stop you vehicle on the bridge. Park a distance away and make the short walk to GZ.
To find the cache, you will have to do some basic math.
X = (Year - 1939)/1000
Y = (Year - 1902)/1000
Add X to the posted North Coordinates and Add Y to the posted West Coordinate.
These will give you the final coordinates for the cache.
Check Sum Final North Coordinates = 21
Check Sum Final West Coordinates = 20
This is meant to be a bit tricky. You should end up in an area where you can park near the cache. Good luck, and bring your own writing instrument.
