Welcome to Bug Light Park! During WWII, this piece of land wasn't land at all, but a ship building yard. Check out the museum or the liberty ship replica to learn more about what went on here during that time. After the war, the shipyard was filled in with cement and eventually became a historic park. Now Bug Light Park is a great place to picnic, fly kites, walk your dog, and boat watch. It also offers a great view of the city of Portland.
