Geocache Description:


Porin lentokenttä (IATA: POR, ICAO: EFPO) on koulutus- ja harrastelentoasema, ja lentoasemalla toimii muun muassa Suomen Ilmailuopisto ja WinNovan lentotekniikan koulutus. Lentokentältä lennetään tällä hetkellä (v. 2024) reittilentoja Helsinkiin sekä tilauslentoja etelän lomakohteisiin.  

 

Lentokentällä on kaksi kiitotietä. Kiitotie 12/30 on 2 351 metriä pitkä ja 60 metriä leveä. Kiitotie 30 on varustettu ILS-mittarilähestymisjärjestelmällä, ja kiitotielle on myös rinnakkainen rullaustie. Kiitotie 17/35 on 801 metriä pitkä ja 30 metriä leveä.
