Christ Episcopal Church, the 4th oldest church on Virginia's Eastern Shore, was built in 1828. A major restoration was undertaken in 1906, with the current steeple constructed in 1950. The church cemetery surrounding the church was opened in 1890, with a memorial garden for the interment of ashes established in 1995. Sunday worship is at 11:15 am.
