Eufaula Carnegie Library, founded in 1904, is one of only two Carnegie libraries still operating as libraries in the state of Alabama. It was built with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie with the stipulation that the city "will appropriate annually $1,000 to keep the library up." Thankfully, the budget has been increased since then! We now have over 35,000 books, 2,000 DVDS, 1,000 audio recordings, and digital services such as Libby, Hoopla, Cloud Library, and Kanopy.
Cache is small with a logbook, pencil, and some fun things for swapping! There is plenty of parking and feel free to stop by the front desk of the library and tell us you've found the geocache. Adventure Begins At Your Library!
