Down by the Ditch
A micro cache hidden along a little windy path in skipwith common.
In the autumn time you may find quite a few Amanita muscaria mushrooms, otherwise known as fly agaric, defined by their large red caps and white spots. These mushrooms thrive growing underneath birch woodlands, which is why so many appear along this path.

You may also see exmoor ponies, cattle and sheep around this area who happily live in the common, these mustn't be fed so look don't touch!
please stick to the footpaths to prevent any damage to plants or animal habitat, and please keep in mind this is a nature reserve so be respectful of your surroundings. Dogs MUST be kept on lead. happy caching! 😁
