Welcome to the Monuments & Multis Series — M&M Series

The Island has numerous small monuments & plaques commemorating oft forgotten people, places & events that played a role in the history of the Island. Most such commemorative reminders, if noticed at all, are usually driven by without stopping or reading. This series hopes to highlight the Island’s past through a number of quick, 2-stage multi caches that require visiting & reading such plaques.

Skip Suzanne Gaudet and her teammates Kelly Higgins, Robyn McPhee, Stefanie Richard, and Carol Webb, curling out of Summerside’s Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club, captured the
Gold Medal at the 2001 World Junior Curling Championships held in Ogden, Utah.
The grace and good cheer of Suzanne, Kelly, Robyn, Stefanie and Carol, world champions,
and that of their coach Paul XXXXX and manager Noel Gaudet, is inscribed in Island hearts.
This granite monument to the achievements is an enduring symbol of Summerside Pride.
