When the wonderful Northern Virginia Geocaching Organization (NoVAGO) asked us if we'd like to host a "Geocaching 101" event at the Martha Washington Library -- our local Fairfax County library where we checked out countless books -- we enthusiastically said, "YES!!!!!"
But where oh where could we hide a cache nearby; there's so many great finds to be had in the nearby area?
So we scoured the map and saw a very very very small area not within the requisite 528 feet of the others. This could work!
But would there be a suitable spot there to place a hide? We drove over and YES!!!! there was! And a perfect one at that. :-)
Btw, while you're in this part of the park, you should absolutely enjoy the library's charming Story Walk which changes seasonally. We really do love it here.
The Fairfax County Park Authority granted permission to place this cache. No night caching.
