As my K9K8 nickname indicates: I love dogs! Here’s another of my 2024 hide submittals.
This cache is named “Gravy Train” to stick with the dog food theme that I established for PA32 River Road when I placed “Stomach on Legs” (GC9EXKC) near Easton and “Raw Hide” (GC9Q7AJ) a short distance south of this cache. Gravy Train is a dry dog food brand made in the USA. I remember the commercials from when I was young. The company was established in 1959 and are still in operation. As advertised: “Only Gravy Train dry dog food makes a hearty meal in it’s own rich gravy.”
Dictionaries define the phrase “Gravy Train” as a noun used to refer to a situation in which someone can make a lot of money for very little effort and/or a position in which a person or group receives excessive and unjustified money or advantage with little or no effort.
While researching my description for this cache I also found out that Gravy Train is also a progressive rock band from Lancashire England.
Should be a grab & go. Small parking area adjacent to the cache. Always keep your guard up when geocaching or socializing with animals of any kind.
