Mid Valley Trail is a 6.26 mile out and back trail (3.1 miles one way) on an asphalt paved trail that used to be a railroad bed. Tooele Parks and Recreation placed it for hike, horseback, or mountain bike use. This is a non-motorized trail that is dog friendly (with a leash). There is no shade, but there is benches for a rest for the littles. Bring your water and watch for the wildlife while enjoying the views of the lake, the mountains and the valley. We saw a variety of birds, including one lone raven, and a couple gopher snakes in the grass which added to the excitement of placing this trail.
