The cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates
In 1936, painter Emily Carr painted a series of compositions in Colwood, inspired by the landscapes and seascapes of the area. "Above the Gravel Pit" was one of them, which she painted while living out of her trailer "Elephant" above the Producer's Pit. The gravel pit shut down in 2007 and is now being redeveloped into the Royal Bay neighbourhood.
The original is now housed in the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
