Welcome to the West Otago Vintage Club's vintage museum!
Beginning in 1958 the West Otago Vintage Club is dedicated to saving vintage and otherwise rare farming equipment from the scrap heap. With a large collection of machines, from steam-powered traction engines, various farming implements, and rare early petrol tractors from the turn of the 20th Century. The museum also houses many artifacts that show the district's past with items such as the towns former telephone exchange on display. Thanks to them the club ensures the legacy and continued operation of these machines for future generations to enjoy.
The museum is open to the public every Sunday from 2 to 4 pm.
The cache you are looking for is a sandwich spread jar with a black lid. Parking is available on the street right in front of the museum and cache. There is enough room for a few swappables and trackables. A pencil is included but you are welcome to bring your own pen.
Please do not go into the middle of the stone garden as the cache is reachable without stepping into it.
Please be mindful of muggles as local homes surround the museum on both sides.
Placed with the club's permission.
