Cache #201
When I first started caching there were quite a few caches on Gateway Island. Over the years they have slowly been archived until there are very few left. Time to fix that up - this is a series of slightly different caches to fill the gap here. There is a concrete path around the outside of the island (with acess points highlighted) allowing walking and cycling accees to the caches. Most of the caches are hopefully above flood level, but access might be restricted at times.
This is an interesting little trail - I can't find any evidence that the megafauna identified here have been found near Wodonga Creek, but the sculptures seem to be a project by Albury Wodonga Parklands and Wodonga Men's Shed. There is a Megalania (giant goanna) back closer to the Gatewy Island village. This short walk will take you to two information signs (one with a "Cuddly" sculpture) and then a short walk to find GZ. The following questions will help with the answers

The Island can be busy and so stealth will be required at times - cyclists can appear quickly so take care with kids. Snakes might be present in the warmer months. I take the geohound here but am wary that there are lots of kangaroos so safer to keep them on a leash.
