Snakewort (Conocephalum salebrosum) is a flat highly textured plant. The picture shows a close-up view. Snakewort has very cool texture. The rocks here along the Enola Low Grade Trail have some snakewort.
The small screwtop geocache container is nestled below some small rocks in a slit in the rock. You do not need to climb at all. If we have had rain, the area may be mushy underfoot. Please be sure that the container is secure after you sign the log. There is no writing implement inside.
