Arvika är känd för ett rikt musikliv. Bördiga från trakten finns allt från operasångare till black metall band som är internationellt kända. Arvika is known for a rich musical life. Coming from the area, there is everything from opera singers to black metal bands that are internationally known. There is always a concert going on, not least thanks to the fact that just south of the town centre there is a folk college and music college (part of Karlstad University) that trains musicians and music teachers.
