🌱🌱🌱 PLANTING WILD GARLIC AT HORSBERE RESERVE 🌱🌱🌱
This CITO event is set to last for 3 hours and some attendees like to stay for the entire session, however this is not an obligation.
Please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish.

Parking: Car parking is available by the main gates leading in to the Reserve (Parking area / Meet-up point).
Where: Meet by the main gates at 09:30 to collect tools, then we will make our way to Cliff's Wood (main coordinates). If arriving after 09:30 find us working either in Cliff's Wood (main coordinates), the Community Woodland or the Hazel Copse (see waypoints). On the day, look out for updates on the cache page or message me for our current location.
What: Today we will be planting the wild garlic bulbs that were dug up from clumps in the Long Meadow. The bulbs will be planted in several new woodland areas around the Reserve.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to please bring your own work gloves if possible and if you wish to bring your own tools (bucket, trowel) please do so. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring a drink and/or snack for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided 🙂
