Old School Part III is a small traditional cache hidden along the Turnagain Arm Trail. Access can be had from the McHugh Creek Trailhead, the Rainbow Trailhead or the best, from the Sunshine Trailhead which is the small unmarked parking area across the Seward Highway from Beluga Point.
bernie321 and I were on the trail last fall and we discussed how the “old school” caches always took you to such sweet locations…scenic places that you might never have discovered without the green dot on the map as a guide. So in that spirit, here is another in the series.   This one will require a bit of effort but once at GZ you will find the views that make the Turnagain Arm Trail one of our favorites. This is NOT an evil hide. And it was approved as such by bernie!!! LOL. She can be a bad or good influence depending on how you look at it!!! Look for the obvious geobeacon and you should have the cache in hand shortly after!
